Community support through participation, cooperation and donations will ensure our continued and safe operations.
Did you know that your farmers’ markets in Arcata, Eureka, Fortuna, Garberville, McKinleyville, Miranda, Shelter Cove, and Willow Creek are organized by a non-profit organization? The members and staff of the North Coast Growers’ Association (NCGA) believe that our Humboldt-grown foods are a critical resource that keep our families strong and our local economy resilient.
The Covid-19 pandemic is having a devastating impact on all of us. This is a challenging financial time for most of us. Farmers markets remain open locally, but many vendors are unable to attend and many fewer customers feel comfortable shopping at the market. The North Coast Growers’ Association depends largely in vendor fees to cover basic expenses. The short and long term financial impact of this crisis will cause significant hardship for us and we ask that anyone in the position consider a tax deductible donation to support our basic operations
We welcome you to join our Friends of the Farmers' Market community of donors today.

The Arcata farmer's market has been an important resource for me for the last dozen years. Local, organic food is the mainstay of my diet; I rarely miss a Saturday; am always there at (or before - LOL) the opening bell; and am often 'first in the peach line' when Neukom's peaches come in. I have numerous friends that I've met through the market, and very much want to see it survive these difficult times. I've been wondering what "my" way of giving back during the shelter-in-place period would/should be - and when your plea for support came up, I knew this was how I wanted to contribute.
