Help us fight food insecurity while supporting Humboldt County grain producers and bakers
Grain for Good is a monthly donation program; local bakers can donate the goods they make using locally grown and milled whole wheat flour to the Harvest Hub and we'll bring those items to Arcata House Partnership to distribute to the communities they serve. Arcata House Partnership directly supports the food security of individuals experiencing houselessness by serving daily meals, as well as by supplying food for 9 food pantries around Humboldt County. It is a requirement that you use local whole grain flour in the goods you donate, this program is intended to uplift our entire food system, from "dirt to distribution" (see below for a list of where to find local whole grain flour) Sign up for our email list HERE We will only send you one monthly email announcing each donation day |
Where to get locally grown and milled flour: Beck's Bakery : preorder via Beck's website, or in person at Arcata Plaza Farmers' Market (weather permitting); Eureka and Arcata Co-ops in the bulk department Not a baker?
