The Miranda Farmers' Market, established in 2007, is located on the breath-taking Avenue of the Giants (Hwy. 254), and is within walking distance to Humboldt Redwoods State Park hiking trails. Recharge here and glean info from the local vendors about the best places to camp, hike, bike, swim, and picnic in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Pick up a free map of the park at the market managers’ table, along with information about all 9 of the NCGA farmers’ markets in Humboldt County. Don’t forget to use your EBT card and get up to an extra $15 in “Market Match” coins.
Adjacent to the farmers’ market in Miranda are all of the amenities of a “larger” town! There is a complete grocery store (with a deli and bathrooms), gas station, EV charging station, post office, two restaurants, a drive-thru coffee shop, a hair salon, gift shop, and the Miranda Gardens Resort….. plus, many Air B&B’s nearby!

At this farmers’ market, you will find a wonderful variety of plants, seeds, dried herbs, delicious prepared Mexican food, crafts, dog treats, and even logs to grow your own mushrooms! Of course, our vendors provide you with of the freshest, just-picked GMO-free seasonal produce, like heirloom tomatoes, apples, pears, figs, grapes, prunes, quince, plums, and mushrooms (dried, fresh, and powdered).
